Should I take an hpt too early?

I've been having twinges, and have been very hungry, and I *think* I got a bit dizzy today.

I was just thinking about some of the weird posts I have seen....I can't remember this one word for word, but basically..

40 year old women, tubes cut.  Has not missed a period, HPT's all negative, bloodwork negative. Absolutely convinced she is 3 or 4 months pregnant because...she read somewhere (another obscure website no doubt) that lots of women still have their period while pregnant.  When that happens, apparantly bleeding drains the HCG so a bloodtest will show negative even though you are still pregnant.  She absolutely 100% believed this and believed this was what was happening.  It was actually quite sad.....I tried to explain to her that yes, some women do bleed during pregnancy, but that it is not really your period.  And that HCG did not "drain" from your body like that...still, she believed.  This went on for months, then she just disappeared.

LMFAO....HCG separating from the urine.  That has got to be the best answer ever.

If you can believe it, my acupuncturist was encouraging when she heard about the twinges.  (I have had twinges at times when I had not had sex for two months.)  She should definitely write on this site, answering all the 2ww girls in the affirmative.  Must admit, it made me feel an nth degree better, even while I inwardly rolled my eyes at myself.

Heck, why buy an HPT? Just keep checking your pee in the toilet each time you go and see if the hCG separates from the urine and sinks to the bottom of the toilet!

You don't need to take an HPT..the twinges are a dead giveaway.  Congratulations!!!
