aspergers/ssi disability

Does anyone know if a person, 21 years old, male, with aspergers, would possibly be elegible for any kind of social security disability benefits?

eligible is the correct spelling, and I'm trying to get it for myself....i think with a lawyer, there's a way to get disabiliy for anyone. It'll be hard, but doable.

I am currently going through the process myself. I was initially accepted then denied after they did a state mental test. Turns out having a high IQ theybdenied me. I then have placed an appeal and the state is paying for my atterney which he said he has gotten ssi for aspergers before. He said it's just a long process of accepted then denied and two appeals before you go before a judge who 89% of the time approves claims.
