I have been gasping for air choking coughing clearing throat it gets worse when its cold out doctor gave me amoxocillian but taking it a week not helping I Googled it asthma but I don't know

There are many potential causes of the symptoms you have experienced. These do include asthma and that is a strong possibility, but also acute diseases of the nose, throat and sinuses and larynx that might or might not be responsive to antibiotic therapy. That your symptoms have been unimproved for a week is an indication that you really do need further medical evaluation. You may want to consider getting a second opinion.
