why is my skin turning purple

Hi, i m 26yr old female. Since a few months i have noticed my skin turning purple in between my thighs startin from the crease. I take bath everyday so i dont think it cud be fungal infection but the purpleness is increasing n sometimes it itches.

Sounds like an allergic reaction to a topical allergen or irritant.  The allergen or irritant could be coming in contact directly, as you bathe, or indirectly through clothing in proximity to these lesions.  It would be important to consider any and all new soaps, body lotions, fabric softeners or water softeners.  It is doubtful that it would be a fungal infection but also important to be sure it is a skin reaction and not a change in the underlying blood vessels.

I suddenly work up with my elbow covered in black and blue.  It has been accompanyed by chills and weakness.  Any information

Please advise why suddenly a person would get a large black/purple bruise, without the benefit of a fall of injury.
