Brother

My ten year old brother was diagnosed with PDD (pervasive developmental disorder) when he was three years old. My mother sees a Genetics specialist at least once a year to see his development as a child. On his last visit, his doctor introduced us to a lab test to determine if there was a mutated cell that may have caused the autism to develop. I believe I am pregnant and was wondering if I should conduct the lab test as well.
