Could I Have Asperger's?

I'm 16 and have other learning disabilities but I'm not "social" (according to my teachers).I can't talk to groups of people(3 or more).  I am proved to be very intellgent from testing particularly in math. Also I get obsessions with the things like ,WWll, for 2 weeks all I did (outside of school) was read about WWll. I have been read about Aspergers and I know that normally Asperger is first noticed in young childern. however i think it may be possible i was misdiagnosed or something along those lines because during testing I would always say I have a lot of friends(in reality I  have 2 friends and don't talk to my family). Also I was wondering if it is possible for me too have both a.d.d. and aspergers

I would recommend that you work with your family to identify a local professional who is experienced in diagnosing autism spectrum disorders. Whether or not you receive a diagnosis, you could certainly work with the support of your family, school, and any other service providers to develop your social skills and your participation in activities that would provide more opportunities for interaction with peers.
