Cat scans?

Is anyone getting cat scans? I am curious if they can see anything. My son is 8 and has been diagnosed with this since he was 5. My Dad and I nicknamed him Bull Dog when he was 3. Needless  to say he is a handful. My ex-wife has been wonderful in protecting him and trying to keep him in public school under special needs. His medications are constantly having to be adjusted. It's difficult for me because I am an every other weekend Dad. When his sister and he comes over I have to make sure I don't treat him with "old school" disciplinary techniques. He is similar to many who have shared. A few years ago in a school meeting with the principal, his 3rd grade teacher, the counselor, and school psychologist, and his mother, I said thank you for your awareness of my son and my wish is that he does not ever feel like an outsider. Unfortunately he is going to feel that way more than I wish. I just talked to his mother today and she said he got kicked out of class for a few days until he can get stabalized by a doctor. She has tried to make sure he is not drugged too much. He's such a cute kid when he's not jacked up. When it's just me and him we never have a bad time. Again, his mother is doing a wonderful job with him.

AFAIK, there are no reliable brain scans nor blood tests for PDD/autism.  It's just observation over a period of time, looking at the childs development and behavior over a long term period.

Some research is being done that show some differnces in brain archetecture and development but there is not yet enough evidence to make a a reliable diagnostic test.

The school school should come up with a positive behavioral plan to address his issues..
