what prevent a 9month old baby from not eating pls help am fraustrated

Oh, and my son was never under weight or had a noticable issue that doctors really knew about at that time.  After the fact, it was clear but at the time it was too vague.  My son is now 8 and doing great.  good luck

Hi, my son had feeding issues at that age due to something called 'motor planning'.  This is part of the sensory system and is how the brain communicates to muscles to carry out a function.  My son has a developmental delay and his oral motor skills were a bit behind.  He had trouble swallowing, chewing when I moved him to semi solids, etc.  Consult a speech pathologist/therapist as they work on feeding issues with infants.  good luck

Nine month old fussy eaters can be quite a challenge for the parents. However, usually, the cause is excess intake of milk and liquid (juices, soups, carbonated drinks etc). This gives them the required energy, and hence they do not take the pains of chewing and eating. Hence, first you will need to check if this is the cause, and then reduce this. Secondly, diverting their attention to stories, cartoons, miming etc while feeding often works. Third, you need to find out if he has any feeding difficulties. Fourth, you need to bring variations in food. Children have phases of poor feeding followed by normal feeding, so it could just be a rough patch. In these cases, their weight and growth is not affected. It would be best to discuss this once with your child's pediatrician.
