How to tell a day care parent I think your child has autism

Hi ,
         My name is Heather . I have run my day care for 15 years . I have had children with autism in my care ,so I think I am familiar with some of the systems . Their are all levels of autism . I have had this child for 2 years he was 4 weeks when he came to me he turned 2 in march . He is very smart. but he has no eye contact . where I have become so concerned is he hurts every one every day ,pulls hair ,scratches in the face bights hits, in in a days some times rocks ( sometimes ) . I love this child so much like my owe . hes is adopted,  can some one help me ? I have parents wanting to pull their kids out cause their child comes home every day saying how he hurts them . It is so hard for me to choose between them . When I talk to the parents they don't listen to me just yesterday dad said i just have never had a child like his and its allot of work for me . I told him yes I have and he went to other day cares and they let him go and mom got him evaluated  and they found what how he could get help . I tank you for your time

Do not tell her that you think he has autism - you do not have qualification to diagnose

However, defenitely tell her about the behavior problems and describe behaviors you see, invite her to observe, and suggest evaluation.
