Leg vibration feeling?

Hello! I was diagnosed with Lupus around 6 years ago. I was diagnosed with Behcet's Disease about a year ago. For years now very sporadically I will wake during the night feeling like the insides of my body are vibrating, but it doesn't happen very often. For about 2 weeks now my left lower leg feels like it is vibrating inside, it happens throughout the day and night. I can't feel it vibrating on the outside when I place my hand on it. When it's bad it will do it for hours about every 10 to 5 seconds and vibrate for 2 or 3 seconds. It drives me crazy! One night it woke me vibrating continuously for about an hour. My internist examined me and is suspicious of MS. My sensory perception is decreased about 30% in that lower leg. She is doing some other testing. Any ideas or information as to what could be causing this? Thanks for any suggestions or information!

Sorry to hear you have Lupus as well. My Dr. said it could be the Lupus, or several other things, MS being one of them. I have a family history of MS.

Sorry you suffer with it too. My doctor did a sensory test. She said she is suspicious of MS and is doing some tests. What is the cause of yours and what are you doing for it?

I have lupus and I can't say for sure it is caused by it or it could be from the discs bulging in my back but as I type this my left foot (always on the bottom) is vibrating, not to the touch it still feels like it's vibrating.
Why do they think it's MS?  I worry about MS sometimes because I know a couple people who have both.  Lupus is more than enough...

I get this quite frequently and those weird tingling fibration symptoms are paresthesia.  There are many causes of this.  Did you have the EMG/NC test done??  Is that how they came to the 30% decreased??

I pray you get some answers real soon.
