Swollen cheeks (in mouth) not face...what is this
The inside of my mouth, specifically my cheeks, are tender, inflamed, and swollen.  There is a metallic taste when I run my tongue over them.  Any idea what this could be?  I do have auto-immune.

Hi!
Since you have swollen cheek on the inside, you could be having infection and inflammation of the gums called pyorrhea. This can cause a metallic taste. It can also be due to acid burn of a very bad gastric reflux. The third possibility is a bad post nasal drip due to sinusitis causing infection in mouth. Please consult a dentist and get this evaluated as early as possible. Take care!
