anti transglutaminase

Should one be on a high gluten diet for 2 to 3 months before an anti transglutaminase test?

Hi joan.

No, it does not have to be a high gluten diet.
You diet must contain some gluten twice daily at least, to provide measurable amounts for your test, like a slice of bread for lunch, a muffin for breakfast., a small serving of pasta for dinner etc. for about 3 months.
If you have serious symptoms from this diet, you should check with your doctor for advice.

Hope this helps.
