Hi timberwolf63.
It is difficult to be in a situation where a patient and a doctor both know that a certain serious disease is present, yet unable to have it officially diagnosed,as certain clinical criteria have not been met.
According to an an article in the Oxford journal of Neurology,
exposure of oligodendrocytes (hOLs) to Tumour Necrosis Factor, was linked to JNK-3 prolonged activation and responsible for accelerated hOLs apoptosis (programmed cell death). Cellular Mitochondrial membrane dysfunction was noted following the JNK 3- activation.
JNK-3 is the JNK neuron specific gene.
This may be of significant importance in dealing with MS and Demyelinating CNS disease.
Ref:Brain (2003) 126 (6): 1358-1370.
In another study-from the Journal of Nature Medicine- The cytokine ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) was identified as protective of oligodendrocytes (hOLs), suggesting a.that disease is more severe when there are deficiencies in CNTF and b. Such pathological features could be treated with an antiserum against TNF.

I'm a study buff-lol! I just love to study studies
Should all this sound like Gibberish, just print it off and show it to your Neuro, as there may be other possible ways to treat your "suspected" MS
without breaking protocol.
Have you done any testing for deficiencies, B12, D3, Magnesium, GSH, Choline, Omega-3 levels etc linked to neurological issues?
If yes, what were the findings and how are your levels now?
One more thing, should you be on statins ( cholesterol lowering drugs), there's a concern of statins negative effect on remyelination.
Your myelin sheath is comprised mainly of cholesterol.
Underlying and undetected pathogenic infectious conditions such as Lyme Disease (neurological LD) and pathogenic Mycoplasma, could also be
responsible for all this. Has your neuro made any reference to such a possibility? (This topic is usually avoided as it opens a "Pandora's box",
very wrong to my opinion, as it is something that has to be ruled out!)
Wishing you well! ( by the way is it Timberwolf or Whitewolf?)
Niko
its timberwolf63 i forgot my uswere name from before. i have had blood work for every known auto immune disorder. i meven was checked for a mini stroke and brain tumer everything came out normel, my calcium is higher then normel in my blood but i am vitamin d defeciacy is now better then it was a year ago.i have also been checked for lupus anf lymes disease bo normelhe just is concerned because they found a possime MS lesions in both sides of my fromtel lobes in my brain aqlsoi my cortex they found a lesion.but im not showing typical MS symptoms thats why i have not be officially dianoed with MS. ive had all the defeciacy checked nothing came up except mu vitamin d is low but i take 2000 iu a day my levels are normel my calcium is high because of the diuretic i take for my high blood pressure, those were the only isuues with my blood work.im even had a emg done i did not react like a Ms Patient i wa also checked for diabetic neropayhy which came out i do not have that yet,i see my neuroloist in september.i had coutless MRI OF MY BRAIN BACK NECK to check for any lesions in those arreas none found excep[t the lesions they fiound in my b/l frontel lobes.i had a evoke test which shows them how long in takes my brain to process signals from somre icture of a red dot it came back b./l my brain signals are slow to react. timberwolf63
