Laroe1, I understand how you feel.
Your best friend, however , seems to be also your worse enemy, as far as your health is.concerned.
Be careful, because, there's a good chance that yeast/fungal organisms
are actually the ones craving for more sweets, which makes them grow even
stronger.
Your risk pertains to increased inflammation, due to processes like glycation,
which renders protein molecules useless!!, leading to AGEs (advanced glycation end products) and Tumor Necrosis factor (TNF), associated with many serious chronic and degenerative
There are many wonderful choices-not just chicken and salad-, but it takes a lot of determination and motivation to take the plunge and make the necessary changes, unless your suffering is intolerable!
Best wishes!
Niko
Thank you for that information. Im not sure how to stay off of grains and sugar completely...i have a terrible sweet tooth and fruit is my only friend when that hits me. Its hard for me to live off of salad and chicken...I will cut down as much as possible and see how i feel. My issue then would be having to stay off these things for the rest of my life. Kind of a sad choice. Have a wonderful day
Hi Laroe1 and welcome to the forum.
As a test, consider going grain and sugar free for a few weeks.
Possibilities include, subclinical hypothyroidism, gluten intolerance,
candida, high tartaric acid-low malic acid, subclinical RA or other.
Unfortunately, the above fall outside the scope of conventional
medicine,
Many patients suffer unnecessarily often for life, when subclinical levels
of certain imbalances, or have conditions which they are not recognized until they become crisis situations, or simply when the doctors rely solely on lab results (which may not be able to track anything significant in inactive phases of a condition at the testing time, or the tests could be just the wrong ones, etc.etc)
Hope this helps.
Niko
