Have your thyroid levels and thyroid antibody levels checked.

My hair fell out in clumps because I have autoimmune thyroid disease.

When hypothyroid, the ends of my eyebrows fell out.  My husband teases me because I won't pluck anymore.

I mean, what if they start falling out again and I'm left with a small island of hair--like last time?

If they think it is autoimmune, your next stop should be to a rheumatologist or an endocrinologist. Try to do some research to find out which ones are the best in your area. Hpoe this helps!

I haven't been diagnosed yet, but my ANA level was very high.  Anyway, the exact same thing is happening to me.  I didn't connect to autoimmune at all.
