I have been dealing with symptoms for several years and finally went to a dr. about 3 years ago. Symptoms include extreme chronic fatigue, all over joint and muscle pain, occasional weakness in one or more of my hands, occasional numbness in one or more of my toes, eyes hurt when I'm in bright light, especially sunlight, increasing problems with short term memory, morning joint stiffness, pain in my jaw (pops on occasion with severe pain), my legs and arms will periodically twitch or jerk, mainly when I lie down to sleep, weight gain even with regular exercise and watching what I eat, acid reflux, IBS. My doctor has run test after test. I had 2 sleep studies done with very mild apnea results. I am 39 year old female. My dr. has told me that all of my lab work for the last 3 years has come back normal, yet I received a copy of my last lab work and one shows "abnormal". Everything was within normal range on all tests except the ANA test. It showed Positive IFA Titer 1:80 Homogeneous. Is this something that can be contributing to all of these symptoms? I'm really, really tired of dealing with this with no diagnosis. She tried to tell me initially it was depression, but I know when I am depressed and it is not. Now she tries to say it may be fibromyalgia and has me on 120mg daily of Cymbalta, but it does not help the pain or the fatigue. The only thing it helps with is PMS symptoms. She has never checked the tender points for fibromyalgia. I'm at a total loss and very frustrated at this point. Any ideas?
