Many symptoms, many tests, no answers

Since Dec. '07 have had both shortness of breath on very mild exertion (taking shower), and blood pressure that sky-rockets to 173/93 on mild exertion, like mopping the floor for fifteen minutes, then it goes back down when I sit for a while.  I also have mild chronic headaches that are helped by ice bags.  Chronic, fleeting dizziness that sometimes seems positional, but not always.  Have seen cardiologist, neurologist and am currently seeing a rheumatologist, who clains my elevated ANA may be a false positive.  He is running more blood tests.  Will know in two more weeks.  Does this sound like any type of autoimmune disorder.   I have not been able to work, or do even simple tasks that I enjoy doing for over six weeks.   Any info is appreciated.

Has anyone told you that your animic or done blood test of your liver...fecal test. I am going through a battery of test what I did see on the internet that the symtoms you suggest is conditions for being animic and not having enough Iron in your blood. I feel my problem border along the same lines I was actually put on Zycor and I am 45 years old that seems strange. For one year I have gone from healthy to hell. Please keep me advise.

I've had symptoms very similar to yours, also since December of  07.  I've been told that increased blood pressure that is episodic can sometimes be attributed to kidney problems and/or hormonal issues. Also, maybe rule out a pheochromocytoma (benign adrenal tumor that can cause BP to skyrocket periodically). Do you remember feeling sick in December or did this come on gradually. Has anyone looked in wegener's granulomatosis or some type of viral condition?
