Hey nved.
I wouldn't be concerned with the ANA at this time.
You should consider doing an elimination diet, eliminating one food or one food group at a time. Gluten and wheat seem to be the most reactive
followed by dairy.
Have you had the PEG test for leaky gut syndrome?
I am on a rather high carb diet and little dairy except cheese since i am milk intolerant, a lot of potatoes and rice. Yes from what i've read 1:80 is not positive but it's not "clear" negative too! Maybe i should have another test done in the near future! Thanks!
Hi nved.
1:80 is "considered" as negative or as there's little diagnostic value
even if it is on the positive.
Negative would technically be the last dilution where there's no flurescense observed under the mircoscope and in your case it would be 1:160 (the amount of dilution doubles each time), but the one reported is the last one where there's observable presence of flurescence.
It can be confusing!
Are you gluten free and /or grain free and very low carb?
Often dairy too is offensive. There are so many cross -reactive foods.
My daughter is doing OK on just grass fed/pastured meat, low or no mercury fish, free run farm chicken, lots of organic coconut oil and vegetables/salads drizzled with olive oil.
Ocassionally she consumes a little rice or potato.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Niko
