I have a severe case of Fibromyalgia (+CFS+RA), 10 yrs now. Same symptoms as you've described+ then some. Full on migraine is worst, cluster migraines &/or chronic headache too. If it is sinus it's chronic - follow Dr advice above and consider a neti pot also (chemist/health food store) adding celtic sea salt and bicarb soda (1/8 teaspoon each) into 300ml of boiled water. Cool to tepid and irrigate each nasal passage twice daily.

It could also be chronic whiplash - if so, fluid may be built up causing a feeling like your head is filled with cement and neck is too weak to hold it up. Short term, a neck brace may provide temporary relief. Arnica (Sunspirit brand) rubbed on the neck eases neck pain and the use of cold or heat packs also(which ever feels right for you). If chronic whiplash, one symptom may be burning big toes however fibromyalgia in general is consistent with chronic whiplash symptoms.  One treatment for this  (also for Fibromyalgia and tinnitus) is laser. It attracts a 65% Medicare rebate- contact 'URHealthy GP' in Sydney and Adelaide (08)82999111. Your head could even shrink a little after treatment depending on fluid.

Have you had an MRI to check your brain?

If soles of feet are burning (or have in the past), consider fatty liver - now in epidemic proportions particularly among the obese (which afflicts many Fibro sufferers). Sandra Cabot's book 'Fatty Liver' (&/or 'The Liver Cleansing Diet') will help. It may be, with the gambit of symptoms effecting every organ in the body with Fibromyalgia, that you have several of these conditions (like myself and others I know)

Thirdly, have your hormones checked! Especially DHEA(s) and Vitamin D levels (simple blood test) but others also - my progesterone ratio was 3:1, should have been 200:1.Saliva test is most accurate for hormones- Dorevitch Pathology ph: (03) 92440433 and ask for a test kit to be sent - you'll need a doctors request. Also check your electrolytes! (such as sodium, potassium etc).

Gentle exercise for your lymph system such as rebounding on a mini trampoline or even better, a Zenpod (expensive, around $1000).

Get some good brand supplements (choose liquids or soft gel/pearls over tablets where possible and don't take them all at once (first do no harm. Also drink plenty of water with them). Good brands include Blackmores MagMin (magnesium is number 1 priority supplement) and B complex, Co enzyme Q10. DefenCELL is an excellent phytonutrient. Combining vit B12 (50micrograms) with 5mg of Folate daily repairs 50% of damaged DNA in 6 weeks (science is in). However your recovery will not be overnight. Supplements will kick in in about 6 weeks with full load at three months (since blood has a 3 month cycle) however full benefit will take longer - your body is very ill and needs lots of love and nurturing to regenerate and this will take time - you'll have some ups and downs with energy and symptoms but soon the ups (or good times) get longer (months instead of hours or minutes) and the downs less and less aggressive. Have one week supplement free out of every six weeks so you don't develop tolerance or allergy. Hang in there!!

Finally, if you're inactive, drink minimum 2 litres of purified water per day but do consider even a gently walk - your body needs to exercise and you need 20 minutes of sunlight per day for healthy cholesterol and vit D manufacture. Drink up to 4 litres per day if you are very active.  If you don't have a water filter, buy the water advertised as the most pure such as Bells triple filtered (can buy a 10 or 15 litre cask). Avoid 'spring' waters and such, they're not filtered and contain varying bacterial contents. And don't buy a cheap filter - a simple carbon filter will take out some nasties but top of the range integrates a reverse osmosis membrane with carbon filter and some even reenergise and remineralise the water.

Consider an antidepressant. I take Lovan.

Get vitamins and hormone medications such as DHEA and vitD in 'bioidentical' form  by getting your scripts filled at a 'compounding chemist' - you'll find one in the phone book.

After having spent years in bed wanting to die, these measures either got me back on my feet (dealing with menopause as well hasn't been fun) or my body is healing itself with a lot of medicinal support. You need to eat a low GI diet as you may have hypoglycemia symptoms, they're similar to what you describe (and hypoglycemia is common with Fibromyalgia) and eat plenty of fresh food especially vegetables and 2 fruit per day, seeds, nuts and legumes (such as dried beans, lentils and chickpeas).

Also check for food allergies (they arise with fibromyalgia and fatty liver).

Lastly, Ethical Nutrients make a citrus or mint flavoured Omega 3 oil liquid that doesn't contain mercury - no amount of mercury is safe. This will aid your cardiovascular system and also provides cognitive benefit. Most in the west have too much omega 6 and not enough omega 3 in our diets. Imagine if your lungs go no air to breathe? Your body can't repair without the right nutrients.

Good luck

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
With tinnitus, heavy head and tingly feeling, you probably have sinusitis and upper respiratory infection. Taking steam, anti-inflammatory and decongestant drugs may help.
However, since I cannot examine you, this diagnosis may not be correct. What you have is probably headache with tinnitus (abnormal sound in ear). This can be stress related or due to sleep disturbances. Subarachnoid hemorrhage can also give headache with tinnitus so since there is no history of head injury get your blood pressure checked. It can be a chronic daily headache which is a variant of complex migraine. It can also be due to carotid artery kinking, aneurysm or blockage. High BP could be another cause. All these need urgent attention, hence please consult your PCP immediately. Take care!
