Need name of this disorder that is an Auto Immune issue.

I found a limp suddenly that was on my left leg close to the inside ankle. It is red and sore to touch. The doctor referred to it as an Auto Immune disorder and the name got away from me. He gave me the Medrol 4mg pack and told me to put heat on it over the weekend. Does anyone know the name for this? It reminds you of what a blood clot looks like when formed. He said if it got larger that I was to call and we may have to also take an antibiotic.

I have been told by another doctor that is not a clot. It is a nodule. I am being told it is due to an auto immune disorder. I was hoping with all talk about Auto immune disorder that someone could give me a name. After the round of steroids it has went away. I now though have a couple new ones.

I would get a second opinion and make sure that this is not a clot, asap. Good luck with this.
