Chronic infections testing

Dear Doctor,

I am a ver frusterated woman I have been to different doctors seeking help for my unrelenting fatigue and the response I get every time is I need to exercise and be on a antidepressant.  While I may not be a athlete I do exercise as much as I can handle too much of over doing anything leaves me recooperating for days, and second I was on antidepressants for over a year and never felt any improvment.  I am 5ft2in and weigh 144 pounds I am not huge.  I feel as though I am treated as though I weigh 300#.

I have been treating hypothyroidism for almost a year, recently added bio progesterone for irregular cycles possibly related to pcos(was perscribed metformin and aldactone but after reading horrible reviews on them I decided to pass), hydrocortizone for adreanals and I am still experiencing extreme fatigue.  Reading through some of your prior responses I am interested in how I can find out if I have a chronic infection?  Or candidias?

"Chronic infections, such as Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Borrelia, and some viral infections are often found in patients with hormonal problems, because these infections often invade the endrocrine glands, especially the thyroid, parathyroid, etc. and also the pancreas, liver, brain and other organs.  To me this is an obvious direction to investigate, because of your signs and symptoms and the fact that your physicians can’t figure out what is wrong because they are possibly looking in other directions"

If an infection is not the cause can you suggest other avenues?  I also suffer from debilitating lower back pain, all the normal hypothyroid symptoms but they have improved with treatment, headaches improved with bio progesterone, but fatigue is not being relieved much by anything.  I sleep 7-9 hrs.  I have cut out all soft drinks and most sugars.

I really appreciate your help

I was just wondering if you have had the Gardasil (HPV) vaccine?  Your symptoms sound very familiar.  You can compare your symptoms to the others on truthaboutgardasil dot org. I wish you all the best!

Certainly chronic infections (with or without trauma) can be a problem here, and I would include fungal infections in the mix of things to consider.  A list of various cell wall deficient bacteria candidates can be found on our website immed.org under Clinical Testing.

Can you please tell me what to request my doctor tests to rule out chronic infections and candidias?

It sounds like you are now considering other alternatives, and that is a good first step.  In addition to considering chronic infections, you can do something about your fatigue and other problems that are related to loss of mitochondrial function.  I strongly suggest that you look into NTFactor, an all natural lipid supplement, to repair membrane function, especially in mitochrondria, the energy generating systems in each of our cells.  You can read about this on the website, www.ntfactor.com.

We have done most of the clinical trials on NTFactor, and I sincerely believe that it can help many patients with problems such as fatigue and other problems.
