CL Update

I just wanted to let you know that Heiferly hasn't been feeling well lately.  She has an upper respiratory infection, and just got home from the hospital this morning.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers.

As for me, I fainted about an hour ago so I am on my way back to bed, but I will be on the boards again as soon as I can.

I so hope you feel better soon Heiferly!!!

I guess we can keep this as the ongoing thread.  Hopefully we won't need to for much longer though.  Just every time I get myself back into the loop, I end up crashing.  I will try to be back later in the week.  I too am so sorry for being away!

*hugs to all*

Sorry you are still so sick. :(  I don't have any great suggestions.  It is hard when things drag on.  Hard then emotionally too.  So feel free to whine/vent!

Hang in there.
:)

I just read about you being sick today, so hopefully you are doing much better today!! My baby boy (17) is on day 2 of a vomit fest, and of course I am dreading catching it. I'll be praying for your FULL recovery!!

Sorry you're so sick!  I have that problem with viruses, but I don't have any suggestions :(  It was particularly bad after I'd been on Florinef for a while, because I got every virus out there.  I just get all the vaccines and hope I don't come down with anything.  Take care of yourself!

Hey everyone.  I tanked again and had to hit the hospital (again) for a "fill up."  I'm back home today, but exhausted and still trying to beat this virus.  The antibiotics seem to be taking care of the bronchitis, but until I kick the virus I guess the dysauto is going to keep throwing me into POTSholes requiring more IVs.  Such is life, right?

Sorry to be away so much like this.  Thanks to all of you for being so understanding and supportive.

Has anyone else gone through this with a cough/cold/virus-type deal where it took you out for weeks and threw your dysauto into a tailspin?  Any advice on what I could be doing to dig myself out of this?  I feel like it's a vicious cycle--my body is weakened by the shenanigans of the dysauto so that it isn't doing as well fighting off the virus as it otherwise might, then the virus is flaring up the dysauto, but the dysauto flare is keeping the virus from clearing up, but ... anyone else been in this boat?  Sage words of wisdom?  This has been going on since the first week of January now, and my body is just ... ragged? ... by this point from struggling with all of this.  Sorry, I guess that's half whining, half question.  ;-)

Saw doc for follow-up from hospital today.  Dysautonomia flare and viral upper respiratory infection went into secondary bacterial infection (bronchitis).  Started antibiotics and sticking with the bed rest at home for now, may have to go back to the hospital if BP won't stay stable without continued IVs.  Thanks for all the well wishes and hope you are all doing okay.  Miss you (and am BORED being stuck in bed!!  LOL).  Can't wait to get back.

Hugs all around,
Heiferly.

Halbashes--take good care of yourself and I hope you're feeling less fainty!!
