Heart rate response with POTS

Hi I am dignosed with IST(inapropriate sinus tachycardi), a similar condition to POTS, or at least overlapping. My diagnosis process has been lackluster taking many months, and requring me to seek private specialists, in a country of state hospitals.

I am worried about my heart rate. It seems to meet the POTS criteria. WIthout any meds my resting heart rate will be 80-90 in the afternoon, but this will rocket to 130 or more when I stand up. What is a norml resting heart rate in POTS, and how big is the increment upon standing. Is the high heart rate dangerous?

You really need to have your primary doctor do a test checking your blood pressure heart monitor when laying sitting and standing. It took me 3 years to be diagnosed. Ablations are not recommended for pots

Does this mean I have POTS or is there more to it. Is it true then that an ablation is bad?

I do the exact same thing. To be n the criteria for PoTs you have to have a heart rate increase of 30 Bpm upon standing. My resting heart rate is from 60-80 but the moment I stand up it goes up to 120 and higher when I start walking. I had a tilt table test to diagnose me and then my heart went to 186. A heart rate high can lead to issues if it stays that high for long periods. It's super exhausting.
