I would like to start this week's thread on a more somber note, to let Debbie know that all of our thoughts and prayers are with her in this very difficult time.  Many prayers are being sent her way everyday, and I hope that we are able to give her the strength and support she needs.  <3

Debbie - I'm so sorry to hear the news :*(  I'll have a drink with you!  Now I will pray that the m/c goes easy on you (the best it can) and you recover quickly and with as little physical pain as possible.

Will the dr's do anything to find out why this keeps happening?

Hi ladies,
I am back from my ultrasound. There is no sac anymore and my cevix is filled with blood.It should happen within a week. It was a good exam and The techs were great! I am getting ready to pour myself a big glass of wine and eat dinner then I am going to watch Supernatural and Bones.

Hi ladies,
Well today is the day!! I will be leaving here shortly for my ultrasound appt. I have to pick up my kids from school and then go to the hospital which is about 45 minutes away. Yeah, you guessed it. I have to take the kids. No one is able to watch them. I was really pissed but what the heck. I called the outpatient center and they said they have a small seating area just outside the room for family. Thank goodness. I don't have my hopes up so I won't be too emotional and it will be fine. It has been 9 days since my last U/S.
  As for me no cramps anymore,no spotting just regular discharge now,and my cervix is closed. I have heartburn still and my bb's hurt today. I wish my hormones would start going down so I can start the ball rolling. 10 weeks 1 day today.It is just weird knowing I am going to miscarry with my body telling me I am still pregnant.
  Thank you ladies for all of your thoughts and prayers.It really means alot.I have been addicted to medhelp so I am online here morning and night.  I will post as soon as I can today. No wishfull thinking though on your part.Just expect the worst.I am okay with it now.

I've heard it comes back sometimes in the 3rd trimester.

yep...So I have 13 days really.  I'm just kind of nauseous today for some reason.  Morning sickness all over.

Oh boy Aileen, your ticker only says 20 days and you get induced a week early, right? Thats probably why you don't feel so hot....

Yay, Natalie!  I know it probably doesn't seem like much, but the Dr.'s can even tell alot about a pregnancy just from the sac.  If it measures right, is shaped right, is in the uterus where it belongs...in 2 weeks you'll be right along with Rossie, feeling the joy of seeing that flicker.

Sorry I didn't get a new thread this morning...I will Friday morning. Haven't been feeling so hot today.

Natalie, when i went for my first ultasound they said i measured at 5wks 6days and i had only a gestational sace and yolk sact, no fetal pole now yesterday they said i measured at 7wks 3days and whala a baby and a hb. So yest you are looking too much. your ultrasound was perfect!!! Relax and enjoy the fact that you are blessed. You are pregnant!!

I was hoping to see the fetal pole and I asked her about it but she said at my next week appt. she may do another u/s then and it should be there by then. I'm not going to worry about it b/c she said everything looked perfect. I just wish I hadn't read so much about what should/could be seen at the 5 week u/s. I really think I am going to stop googling so much:)

Natalie, - two weeks for another ultrasound sounds perfect. Had mine at 5wks couple of days on the 3rd and then 2wks later on the 17th which was yesterday. They figure in 2 weeks you will be able to see your little beans heartbeat!! Can't wait to hear about it!!

hazleyez - Im sure the contractions will start again all of a sudden real soon!! Good luck with your baby!!

Morning! I had my u/s and it went great. I saw the sac and the nurse said everything looked really good. I don't go back for a week and the next u/s won't be until 2 weeks. I was so overwhelmed just seeing that little sac. All the tears and sadness I've experienced since my loss just flooded over me but I was crying tears of joy this time. I am going to choose to be happy in this moment no matter what happens down the road...right now I feel such joy.

Amanda, he'll be here soon! Since you were having contractions this week, it could be any time! I know you're so anxious to meet him!!
