Introducing myself

Hi everyone, Cocoa told me about this group and I would like to join if you ladies are happy to have me :)  I had to have a D&C on Monday after being told on Fri that despite being 12 weeks pregnant my baby had not survived past 7wks 3 days.  It's all been a big shock and obviously i'm all over the place emotionally.  One thing I do know for sure though is that I want to get pregnant again as soon as possible.  I feel that I can only truly move on once I have a healthy baby growing inside me.

I know it's early days and I keep forgetting that I'm not pregnant anymore :(, then it hits me like a sledge-hammer. I feel so frustrated and cheated.  I'm also impatient for the next month to pass by so we can start again.  I have had 2 previous miscarriages, one at 7 weeks and one at 5 which where both natural but on a positive note I have also had 4 successful pregnancies.

So that's some of my story. I'm hoping for inspiration from the success stories on here and also to be able to offer my "ears" and support to those who are still ttc.

Helen

Welcome Helen! I'm so sorry for your losses. I joined MH over a year after I lost my son and the ladies here have helped me so much. We keep things interesting around here, helps with the stress of TTC :) We also have a few women from the UK here so you won't be the only one lurking when we're sleeping :)

Welcome Helen. I am sorry that such a sad event had to occur for you to find us but the ladies here are truly amazing. As Dana said we "chatter" all day long on the cycle buddies thread. Feel free to post on it. I will actually be starting a new list tonight and if you would like to be on it just let me know :)

Helen: I sorry for the unfortunate situation that has led you to this group,  but it is certainly a great place to be!  This group of women are an amazing support system.  I had a m/c in June very similar to your story.  I should have been about 11 weeks and went in for a scan and the baby had stopped grouwing around 7 weeks.  I found this site shortly after and am so thankful that I did.  Feel free to ask any questions everyone is very open.  Welcome!

Helen: I am sorry for your loss.  I too lost a baby at 7weeks3 days....fortunately I was more more than 8 weeks when I found out, but I also had a d&c.  I am sorry that you are going through this and we all can understand the emotions you are going through.

There are many success stories on here, but more importantly, we are all here to support each other through the "trying" times as well....hope that you find comfort here.

We usually congregate on the "cycle buddies" forum.....thats where we chat most of the time so feel free to jump on the train.....best wishes and take care of yourself!
