BTW, I'm so sorry for your loss :(
Yes, that is a chemical pregnancy. A missed miscarriage is when your further along and baby stops growing but your body still thinks you are pregnant for a few weeks. With my first pregnancy I made it to 12 weeks, but baby stopped growing at 8 1/2.
Sorry txgurl4real = (
Sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me. Apparently, they are extremely common. It's where you lose the baby before you realize you're pregnant or test 4-5 days before your period and get a + but then start bleeding a few days or week later.
If you were further along.... I really don't know. Although this is probably very rare, when I was pregnant with my first child, I skipped a period for 3 months and tested negative every week. Eventually, I saw my doctor who ordered a blood test and confirmed what I knew all along! She will be 16 in December & I always tell people that she was trying to sneak up on us ; )
I agree with Lori...I think that is what they call a "missed pregnancy", right? Something was wrong and it ended itself...
I'm so sorry your going through this. I read your other post and then saw this one. Your HPT's may have been negative because you may not have produced enough hcg for the test to detect. Some test need higher amounts than others so you will get a negative until your levels rise. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
