I also had a missed miscarriage...I had no cramping or spotting or anything. My dr. told me my body must have just been preparing for the pregnancy and still thinking I was pregnant, so I ended up having the d&c as well. I am sorry for your loss.
the same thing happened to me as what happened to cocacolapanda. I lost the baby at 8w 3d, and didn't find out until I was 12 weeks. I only had a little bit of spotting, and had to have the baby removed via d&c.
Sometimes if you wait, the baby will come on its own, but you would be risking infection. Usually if you want to and are able to, they will give you something to help speed up the process if you want to have a natural m/c.
Hi. I am sorry for your loss. Sometimes it takes a while before the bleeding starts and sometimes you have what's called a missed miscarriage where your body doesn't realize that the baby has stopped growing and you will have to have the baby removed by a doctor. It depends on how far along you were. Sometimes you can be given a medication to help pass the baby. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
I lost a baby at 6 1/2 weeks but I didn't find out until about 11 weeks. Even at 11 weeks I didn't really "bleed" I had a little blood when I wiped, but not enough for a pad or anything. Usually when that happens there missed miscarriages. Did your dr give you anything to help bring on the miscarriage or suggest?
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the baby just absorbed into nothing, when I was having an ultrasound done the tech said that could happen too.
I'm so sorry your going through this!
