Vanessa,
Just wanted to say how happy i am to hear that everything went well with your scope and look forward to seeing you on the train!! Choo choo!!!!
thanks everyone!
Jenny, I guess it all makes sense that it was endo now. I was opposite to you though. I would get sore from just before Ovulation and it would stay until just after AF. then I would be pain free for about one week then it would start up again before O. AF would be med-heavy for one day then I would spot for about 5-6 days. in the morning when my bladder was full it would really hurt, and releasing it would hurt even more. He found a lot of scar tissue but i was too out of it to remember all the places he found the scar tissue and the endo. i know he found something on my bowls, not sure if it was endo or scar tissue. the endo was all over my right ovary, along with the blocked tube.
my left side was just fine though. no endo, no scar tissue, and no blocked tube. DH remembers him saying something about my cervix so im wondering if he found scar tissue on there from the last D&C or from when the Dr had to open my cervix after it shut tights after D&C.
AF is a lot different from when i was a teen. I would get AF heavy for a day with a lot of pain, then it would go away for a day then come back with pain again and last a few days. it was like having two AF's in one week. I am curious as to if i had it back then as well.
i want to go to my post op app now to find out all the details... the 20th seems too far away!!!! but that's be being impatient.
I am feeling much better. still feel pain from the surgery but I haven't even taken the RX for pain the the Dr gave because i cant take strong pain meds or ill be as sick as a dog!!!!! now my step daughter has a cold and is not feeling well and makes it worse by stressing out... I'm taking her to the Dr just to be on the safe side that its not H1N1. its been going around her grade at school, but i have a feeling its just her making life worse for herself.
Vanessa, I'm so happy to hear that everything went well with the surgery and they were able to fix what was causing you so much pain. Rest and then full steam ahead, maybe this was just your ticket to your BFP! Good luck!
Vanessa
My cycle stayed exactly the same. I am pretty much always a 28 day cycle. The scope did not affect when AF showed up. So before the surgery, I would cramp a little during AF, then as soon as I stopped bleeding I would start cramping again all the way until after I ovulated. I would feel good for about a week, then I would start cramping about a week before AF was due. I also bleed a lot. Well spotted a lot. I would spot almost 5 days before Day 1 (all my doctors argued about when Day 1 was and it was super frustrating - I and my RE call Day 1 when I had actual flow), then I would have AF for 5-6 days, and then spot for several days again. ALL off that is fixed.
The doc did not find anything besides endo. He said that everywhere he looked he found it. It was on my bowels around my bladder, etc. I was in a lot of pain when my bladder was full. I always attributed to having kidney stones (because I have those and the pain is very similar) and that is all gone.
I was not in the mood to BD afterwards either. Take it easy this month then hop back on the train full speed ahead next month! :)
I'm so glad you got everything taken care of and you should now be pain free! I hope you feel better soon and have quick success now that everything is clear!
Thanks Jenny, did your cycle continue the same or did the scope change the date of when your next AF was due? I go back to the Dr on the 20th for post-op check up. at my pre-op he said as soon as i feel better I could BD again. right now im not at all in the mood to BD...lol. but I cant wait until im feeling up to and TTC again!!!!!
what part of you cycle did you feel most of your pain? did they find anything besides endo?
Vanessa that is so wonderful. I just had the same thing done for endometriosis on Aug. 1. I feel SO much better after having it done. I had it the same time (right before ovulation) and my doctor cleared me to try again the next cycle. He actually said we could try asap if I was up for it. I hope you are as happy with everything as I have been.
Hope you start to feel better soon.
Yay! Thats great that you have go in and have hopefully had everything causing problems taken care of! I hope you feel better soon though!
*HUGS*
I'm glad everything went well. Hopefully this will get rid of all of your pain!
yay for student loans!!!!!
Now its just a waiting game for my body to feel normal after the surgery. I can only stay up for a short time then have to lay down again. but I am happy that the surgery is over with and I can now move on to TTC in a month or so.
Oh Vanessa! I am SO glad that you had a successful surgery and you got some answers! I'm sure it makes you feel better that you knew something was wrong and now they have taken care of it. I remember the shoulder pain too...that is annoying. Get your rest and take care. :) Hugs!
I'll be able to figure it out for sure next week when my student loan money comes in :)
they said it will take a few days for it to go.
I dont go on MH that much so i miss out on everything. that is wonderful news about finding the money for the IUI!!!! When will you know for sure if you can get it done?
I'm happy that you're happy! I'm guessing the gas will dissapate soon right? I know Steph had the same thing.
I'm just plugging away, Surely AF is going to show today or tomorrow, but did you see?? I think we found the money for an IUI!!!! So hoping my "creative accounting" comes through and I can get turkey basted this coming cycle - LOL
thanks Bam! Im really happy that they found something. I was really surprised that the tube was blocked. I wonder how long it was blocked for. if it was after the D&C or if was always like that and i got preggers from the left side. so all this time i only had a chance every two cycles to get a BFP... and that's even if my left side is ovulating. if it wasn't then there would have been no hope for me to get preggers.
now i cant wait for the gas they pumped into me to move away from my shoulders. I just phoned the on cal nurse because they Dr gave me a pain medication i cant take. I asked her why the shoulders and neck hurt form the gas. she said it probably because the gas settles in the cavities in the shoulder. I guess that why lt eases of when i lay down. gas rises so it will rise to my shoulders ten when i lay down it moved down my body.
anyways, for pain i can only stick with naproxin because my tummy is too sensitive to anything strong.
how are you doing anyways Bam?
Oh Vanessa I am so happy that he was able to find the source of all your pain. I pray this is just the ticket you need to get your BFP right away. Especially now with open tubes!!!! I am sorry they found the endo, but like you said at least it validates all of the pain you are in and gives you a reason 'why'.
((((BIG HUGS))))
