yes, each dr can measure it differently. With my first pregnancy I actually had students who measured me first, then the dr would measure me. The two never matched up. Once my dr measured me twice and got two different numbers (they were very close though).
I've noticed that the belly measurements can vary depending on which Dr. I see. It's not a vey exact science. chances are your belly dud grow, you were just measures a little differently. As far as the EW mucus, I'm not sure. I know that the mucus plug can regenerate, and that women can loose thier plug weeks before they actually go into labor, and some woman don't loose them until they are in labor.
