Softcups

Hi ladies, my husband and I lost our son Hunter on Jan 7 and have been ttc pretty much ever since. After my 1st af we tried unsuccessfully. 2nd cycle dh was out of town working :(  I saw someone had posted a suggestion on using softcups for ttc which I had never heard of before. So we gave it a try this cycle. I am just wondering if any of you have ever used them with success? I am on day 6 of my tww. Pretty anxious... Also when should I do a hpt?

I posted something about this a while back as I was curious also. if you can find my post it had a link to tons of stories saying they got a BFP using them.

I got my BFP by drinking the grapefruit juice, eating pineapples and taking Robitussin DM. If you use robitussin, make sure it only has Guaifenesin in it. All these things will help create fertile CM to help them lil swimmers complete their mission :)

I tried them, but found them to be messy and uncomfortable.  I had better luck drinking grapefruit juice and using preseed.  In theory the soft cup makes perfect sense, so I would imagine if you can get them to be comfortable then it would help keep the swimmers in the right location.

I know that we've talked about them a little bit on this group and a couple of people have tried them.  But I can't think of an exact instance of a BFP resulting.  Although, I've read lots of good stories online of it being succesful.

Implantation can happen between 6DPO and 10DPO.  Implantation is what causes HCG to be produced which is what an HPT is picking up on.  It's usually best to not start testing until 12DPO, but none of us here are very good at sticking to that rule - LOL
