i  have a  hemangioma  in my L3  verlebral .. of my lower back . and its been causing me a  whole  lot  of serve  pain  they found it after  i had a  car wreck  in 2003 .  i;m a 54 y/o   female  the pain  some time  goes  down  my legs  and  i well be setting and  my  legs  goes numb ..   what cause  the hemangioma . and  i heard  if  it  goes with out treatment    it  can cause radionecrosis of the  spin  corl  does  that mean  i  could  be criple

Hemangiomas are increasingly found on MRIs of the spine and are for the most part harmless and not the cause of pain.
I suspect that there are other causes of your pain that may include slipped discs pinching some nerves.
Hemangiomas are often present from birth and are like birth marks but can be found internally as well.
