Hey there Anjel,
I saw my neurosurgen today and he told me I have quite a few bulging discs, DDD and one of the disc is flattened, it's grinding on the nerves. He is sending me to have an exray sitting down and a mylegram....I am scared to death of that. He said he will determine after the tests whether I should have surgery. How are you doing? I really feel bad for you because you can't go to a doctor of your own choice. Do you have the extra money to pay for a second opinion? If you are in so much pain and on workmans comp, can you go back out again. Do you have a comp attorney? If not you should look into it. I can't imagine working with the pain that you are experiencing. I hope all works out for you and keep my posted. I will be checking this board every day. I found it weird that the neurosurgeon told me to call my primary for my pain killers. He said that he has no way to moniter the meds and it is best for my primary. Strange huh? I guess he is afraid I might be getting medications from my primary and doesn't want to give me some too. I read where some people have docs who prescribe massive amounts of painkillers. I really need them and I know at this point I am addicted. I will have to deal with that once this is over.
