Back Pain/Rectal Bleeding

I am 22 and I'm very prone to UTI's. I've had blood in my stool in the last 2 days but it didn't hurt but today I'm having severe back pain. I feel it all over my mid to lower back but there's also more pain on the left side than right. When I went to to the bathroom today there wasn't any blood though. What could this be?

Never made it to a doctor before that weekend but thankfully it cleared up and things went back to normal for about a week. Now, however, I started my period March 8 and have yet to stop bleeding. Probably just due to PCOS and thyroid imbalances but 2014 has not been my year so far, haha. I'm planning to see a specialist as soon as my college classes end in 2 weeks. Thanks for your responses and well wishes! It means a lot and I hope you are well! :)

I've been waiting it out to see if it got any better. The pain is nothing compared to what it was over the weekend but the blood has slowly increased. Today there was enough to turn the toilet water completely pink and bright red. No other symptoms though except just being tired all the time.

I don't know what it could be but it sounds like it's time to have this looked at. Pain and bleeding is not normal. With sever back pain after bleeding prior I would get to the ER today. Hope you get to feeling better.
