Back and testicular pain

28 year old male. I hurt my back recently. I think it happened when I was moving some furniture. The back pain has been mostly constant for about 3 weeks. After the back pain started, I noticed that I have had some discomfort and pain in my testicle (left side), which has lasted for a couple weeks on and off. My doctor gave me 800mg ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer to take before I go to sleep. I was starting to feel better and then had too much to drink at a wedding and woke up in pain again the next day. Maybe I slept in a bad position that night.

Has anyone experienced testicular pain that goes along with back pain. As you can imagine, It's been pretty disconcerting. Thanks for any advice or help.

Hi, it is common condition in my clinic. Treating your lower back pain could lead to testicle pain relief. Good luck!

Hi!
Yes, you can have back pain due to spinal nerve compression that can radiate to testicles. Other than this pain due to hernia and kidney stone can radiate from lower back/side of abdomen to the testicles. Gas in abdomen can also behave similarly. It is important you get this evaluated by your doctor again. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
