Bruised toe

I need some information.  I stubbed my toe on a chair 2 weeks ago and don't think i broke it but badly bruised it.  My foot did swell but not so bad now except for the little toe i stubbed and a little swollen under it on the bottom of my foot.  Could this cause lower back pain if I am not walking on it right and if so should I see a doctor if it has been doing it for over 2 weeks?  Thank you

Thank you and appreciate it.  People told me if it bruised or broken that there is no use going to the dr now and probably will take up to 6 weeks to heal and if it doesn't will surely go to the dr then.

Hello there,

Just finished reading your comments. I can certainly relate to what happened to you. Many years ago, I walked into a teak chair in the dark
in our dining room. My ex husband had put the chair in a different place
and I walked into it in the dark on the way to the kitchen to have a drink.
Anyway, long story short. It wasn't my little toe. It was the toe next to
the little toe on my left foot. The next morning that toe was really badly
bruised. Luckily it was the summertime so I could wear sandals.
My ex husband drove me to the hospital and we went to emergency.
Many hours later, my foot was x-rayed, specifically me bruised toe.
No wonder it was bruised. The technician told me the bruised toe was
broken in three places. There was nothing I could do about it. They
couldn't put a splint of it because it's a toe. Anyway, even though this
happened many years ago now, that same toe still looks wider than my
other toes. Yes, the bones did heal. I think they told me to put my foot
up as much as I could. My ex husband apologized profusely at the time.
I think he felt badly. That's not why I divorced him.
Anyway, as far as this injury causing lower back pain. You might consider
making an appointment to see your family doctor. Perhaps your family
doctor could give you a referral for an x-ray of your injured toe. Good luck. Eve
