C4-C5 Mild Bulge

C4-C5 Mild Bulge

5 months ago, i have been diagnosed with C4-C5 disc bulge. The symptoms such as pain in the neck, upper left back has reduced over time. However, there is still tremendous discomfort and a tingling sensation in the left arm and left leg. I have not done much of physiotherapy or strengthening exercises. Please suggest me on the following

1. Neck movement exercise for strengthening
2. Any specific exercise that reduce the disc bulge
3. Does Chin tucks and jumping on gym ball reduce bulge
4. McKenzie Cervical roll used while sleeping. Doe it help reduce bulge

Hi slim...I am not a med pro, but I also have buldging and herniated discs in my neck and lower back.
If possible, get physical therapy. I had one stretch that seemed to help in the past. Sitting straight, both feet on floor...gently try to touch your left ear to your left shoulder at the same time as reaching toward the floor with your right arm. Repeat with otherside. DO NOT bounce your head...DO NOT create pain. The object is to just release some of the tension in the neck muscles. Moist heat may help with pain and stiffness also, alternating with ice.
I cant say what will reduce a buldging disc, but your diagnosing doc should be able to instruct you on more therapy.  Good luck

Hi Slim!
I am assuming you tried the stretches??  Did it bring any relief?  How are you feeling now?
Any new advice from your doctor?
Neck problems are really a "Pain in the Neck", frustrating and causes pains elsewhere in the body.  I wish you the BEST of luck in feeling better  <3

Hi
Thank you very much for the advice. I recently bought a special pillow that relives pain and it has improved. However since the last 3 months I have started getting pain on my left leg constantly while sitting and standing. I also have lower back pain for the last couple of weeks. I am afraid if the condition is getting worse.
