HELP!!! neck,back pain

Hi I'm 23 and i have two central prolapsed discs l4-5,l5-s1 and a prolapsed c4-5 which i was told had slipped to the side. However i regularly suffer excruciating neck ,arm wrist shoulder pain and a recent emg confirmed cervical nerve entrapment/irritation, muscle weakness. The problems with my back became disabling around 17 and I already have arthritis. Why is my spine like this? Currently I'm experiencing shakes or tremors when I stand or lift my arms. I'm concerned this is the start of another episode ; earlier this yr and last yr for about 2 wks each time i couldn't weightbear so couldn't walk and also had urinary incontinence. I really don't want to spend any more time in a hospital. For now the incontinence seems to be ok but its just hard to go and i always still feel full.DO YOU THINK THE KNOWN cervical prolapsed DISC could be irritating the nerves even without touching? Is there a name for the conditions i'm suffreing from? Could my disloating kneecaps be related to my back problems?
I'm terrified of the degeneration and find it hard to imagine a future not constantly dominated by pain. I'm really quite depressed and currently resigned to being on copious amounts of morphine for the rest of my life. The temptation to drink the bottle or swallow the packet is quite overwhelming but i'd be dead pretty quick if i didn't call myself an ambulance when the reality dawns.I don't always feel like this but i'm in pain despite 90mg zomorph and 10 mg oramorph and i'm frozen despite heating full blast.
Do you have any suggestions for things which may help me cope? Do you think surgery may be of benefit ? What alternatives are there?

hmmm I am addicted. Its been years. The lbp isn't as severe as it used to be n I could try other methods for pain relief but its so much easier and quicker just to pop a pill. I'm so used to movement being agony that i have avoided doing much. I need to get more active and stronger so swimming would be great. I've been thinking about it for a really long time but for one reason or another I haven't been. I know I need to eat but I can't. I've lost weight and need to maintain or gain. The solutions so bloomin simple yet I can't bring myself to.The kitchen is a mess every single utensil, cup, plate, pans dirty. I just can't face it. I've now ignored the kitchen for 2 weeks and something ha s to be done.
I've got a wheatgrass hot/ cold compress somewhere but where? I have a surgical corset at the bottom of the laundry still waiting to be dry cleaned which might help but I never remember to do it.
I haven't any energy for anything and always sleeping through things. It has been suggested that the morphine s responcible but when I decreased my dose by 2/3 my energy levels didn't noticibly change. Maybe if I do more exercise then I'll have more energy overall? If I don't sort out my eating habits its gonna make everything else 10x worse. why do I still feel powerless to do anything?

Hi there, sorry to hear about your illness at this very young age. I am suffering from  L4/5 degenerated disc/prolapsed and my L3, S1 also affected I was sufferring from LBP 5 years ago and not paying attention until recently the pain was constant and unpleasant then I decided to have it check...full examination done.

I had an Epidural Inj. 2 months ago but nothing happen, Im still in pain. now I underwent PT and its helping me a lot, the pain is becoming less every session I made, it's my 1st treatment. I finished 4 sessions and 4 more to go.....then another program needs to be done. it should be treated properly.

Avoid carrying heavy stuff, do the proper bending, sitting or the proper posture, if pain strike apply hot compress on the area affected it'll help to reduce the pain, do some stretch exercise (make your abd/back muscle tight/strong) that will help reduce the pain as well, walking (not jogging) is good but the highly recommended by the doctors is SWIMMING.

Take pain killer tablet only when its unpleasant or agonizing, but if you can tolerate don't (apply hot compress instead) because you'll get addicted and dependent to pain killer which is not good.

Paining, Trembleng of lower extremities & incontenence of urine is all because of your lower back....but the best thing to do is to consult ur physician.
