Pain in lower back when I breathe

Hello
I had contact with a flying hard object this weekend. The point of impact was my middle lower right side of my back. Now when I take deep breathes and sit up for long periods of time I have pain that moves toward my right side. Please tell me what could be wrong

Don't know where you were hit, but this sounds like the pain of a strained intercostal muscle. These muscles help with respiration and hurt with every breath when strained or "pulled."

The pain is sharp at first, but should dissipate soon, and disappear within a week.

With a cracked rib there is bruising, pain over the fracture, and pain when lying down. Most cracked ribs are left untreated.

Should pain persist or increase, seek medical attention.

my insurance will not cover x rays or lab work so I am out of luck on that. I just wanted to see what everyone thought so I can way my options. Thank you though.

I dont have any blood in my urine and it was close to my kidney. I know when the contact happened I fell to the ground and could not breathe or move for a minute or so it felt like forever

was it in the area of your kidney????  have you had any noticeable blood in your urine???  could just be bruised muscles which will be sore, but if you have the ability it would not hurt to see a dr just to make sure you didn't hit your kidney.  hope you feel better
