Possible aneurism?

by Thegirlwhocriedwolf, Nov 02, 2009 01:09PM
recently had a surgery to remove a screw that was impinging a nerve at L4-L5-S1. It went well. Prior to that I had to have a mylogram which had complications. The doctor immediately knew there was a problem and directed the nurse to remove the batch of dye. This procedure was to prove the nerve impingment. It did but I was aslo told that I would need an epidural blood patch. I had two. The second time the blood was put in the wrong place which caused a blood cloth in the spinal fluid. I was hospitalized for 6 days. I thought my tail bone and the top of my head were going to explode at the same time. straight out the top and straight down out the bottom. It finally subsided. My question is now the tail bone is very tender and causes pain when I sit on it and when I get up. It feels like a tender spot that is getting bigger. Could it be an aneurism? What would be the best test to rule it out? And what would that area be called? I know it's not my tail bne but it is right there where I thought it was going to explode.
I don't like to complain and everytime I think someting is wrong it is. The doctors think nothing is wrong then they find out something is. I just don't want to ask for a test that is a waste of time.
Thanks if you know any possible answer or recommendation. I have a very famous doctor and has accomplished a miracle with me already. It's not anybody's fault I just want closure.
