Random, bad stomach pains

I just got really overheated and my stomach started cramping or feels like it's twisting, so I thought maybe it's because my poorly set irregualr eating habits, well that wasn't the case either. I ate a plate of meat pasta and drank a glass of milk. Still didn't stop. Then I laid down and rubbed my stomach for like five minutes. I don't know what else to do... I keep laying on stuff to put pressure on the area that hurts because my grandmother always told me if you have a stomach ache, then lay on a pillow, it would usually help. Well, it hasn't this time and I'm starting to get really worried. Someone please help me! :( It hurts when I breathe....

is the pain lower right abdomen?

If it is then it could be appendicitis and you would need to get to accident and emergency asap in case it bursts which could be life threatening

If the pain is upper right abdomen it could be gall stones of pancreatitis

If it is left or right lower abdomen it could be a burst cyst or twisted ovary

There are so many things it could be and usually you only have severe pain when your body is telling you something is really wrong.

Get someone to take you to the hospital right now and they can do xrays scans etc to find out what it is.

If you think there is any chance you might be pregnant please tell them as it could be an ectopic pregnancy .

Good luck and keep us posted with how it goes.

I find heat is usually good for abdominal pain ...if you haven't got a heat pad or hot water bottle then wring a face cloth out in warm water (not so hot as to scald) and put it on the pain

im only 14 but please dont ignore this, it could help. if you have asked the doctors and had many tests that have all come out negative, then i suggest you ask a doctor to test you for coeliacs disease. i used to regularaly have stomach pains that felt like my stomach was twisting and i couldn't breathe properly because it hurt too much, and then later i was diagnosed with coeliacs. if these ppains are constant after eating things with gluten or wheat in them (like pasta, pizza, cake etc) then it is a possibility. hope this helps :)

Hi there

Well The only time I felt pain when I was pregnant was when I was giving birth . Even the kicks and the baby doing a 360 degree turn inside me didn't hurt at all.

Sometimes food can cause stomach pains in some people . The main culprits are wheat and dairy and it seems a coincidence you ate pasta and drank milk and it didn't help much lol

You could try avoiding wheat and dairy for a week  and see if it helps .
It is not as easy as you might think as they put wheat in loads of stuff like gravy and youghurts etc so you would have to check the ingredients of everything you ate.  If you find this does improve your condition you would need to go to the doctors for some advice.

Before you try any of this though please take a home pregnancy test just incase.

good luck x
