Recalled Meatal on Metal hip Rplacement

Had a hip replacement in 2006. It was recalled and I have had a revision surgery in 2011. I know have spinal stinosis, nuroforaminal narrowing, and disk bulges of the lower spine.
Has anyone been a vitim of these faulty hip replacements?

Hi there!

Hip replacements may need to be revised since these tend to wear out after a period of use. The wearing out process may be increased due to a few other factors that increase stress on the region. Nevertheless, a revision surgery usually works well in most cases.

They are supposed to last more than 4 years though right. Mine fell apart causing all of my back issues.
I take very good care of myself and did not abuse the 2006 hip replacement.
