My husband has just been diagnosed with 4 or 5 bulging discs from L1 through S1 with a mild pinched nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity on the right side and a moderate to serve pinched nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity on the left. He fell in August 08 and it is now Dec 08 and we just got the MRI results read to us. He is in the military and nothing has been done to correctCorrect (new formula) this issue at all since Aug. He has not been to physical therapy and just now got the ok to be seen by a neurologist. Could these discs now be herniatedHerniated nucleus pulposus? Could he require surgery?
