Spondylolisthesis

I have been diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis since I had back pain and I am thinking about havin surgery. My question is would I be taller after the surgery? and what are the chances of having really bad outcomes, such as paralysis? thank you!

read Healing Back Pain by Dr. John Sarno. I had a failed surgery, and after reading this book I am completely cured.

I, too, have Spondylolisthesis and a consultant surgeon recommended I have spinal fusion surgery.

I've declined it, having heard some bad reports.

My own doctor has told me that the risks outweigh the possible benefits and there are inevitably complications long-term.

He supports my decision not to have the operation.
