Will adjustments help phase II neck alignment?

I am going to a chiropractor 3x a week for cervical adjustments.  Dr. claims that my phase II neck will be helped by his "long-term" care program.  MRI findings were c4-5 minimal posterior disc bulging/uncovertebral joint hypertrophy.
c5-6 Mod. disc space narrowing small central disc. herniation. c6-7 Moderate disc space narrowing with posterior endlplate spurring/disc bulging.  I know the degenerate disk disease will not change but can my neck alignment change?  I am also doing traction, exercises, etc.  Just want to know if I am wasting my time with adjustments, besides that I heard they may be dangerous.

Hello,
I also was going to a chiropractor actually a few of them over a period of two three years. I always felt better afterwards. I was however told that they can do serious damage to the cervical spine and can even kill you with theri cervical techniques.
My third chiropractor wouldn't even touch me when she saw my x-rays. She sent me to a neurologist. I had multiple tests and saw several physicians all agreed they could have severed my spinal column with one wrong turn!
I had cervical surgery last month with great rsults! No pain and I feel good. I am able to walk 3 miles a day and no pain pills.
I will never trust a chiropractor again. Once you read about theri limited education, you hopefully won't either.
I would try acupuncture, an alpha-stim machine or physical therapy if you won't or don't want to have surgery. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply.  I have stopped going to him.  When I started my neck was just stiff.  Now I have pains and tingling up and down it all the time and can not sleep.  Never did feel better after the adjustments, just worse.  What type of surgical surgery did you get on your neck?
