I recently had my second back surgery the doctor performed a lumbar discectomy on my l1,s5 my mentral cycle was due shortly after the surgery.  I am spotting & it has lasted over a week.  This is not a normal period.  Is that normal or not?

My cycle did that after my 1st back surgery also. I think its maybe a shock to the system and stress that causes it. I just had  neck surgery 2 days ago, I got mine the morning of surgery and now its gone! Mine usually lasts for almost a week.
