burning in upper back

is there any one out there that is like me. for monthes i have had severe burning in my upper back that is extremly painful. for quite some time i just kept getting told it was this and that. then recently i was told i had osteoporosis. i am only 37 years old and i don't think i am satisfied with this diagnosis. i have so many other symptoms, like- cramping and pain in my right leg, blurred vision, EXTREME fatigue, and lots of pain.noone has yet given me a mri just xrays, bone tests, blood test. i just don't know what to believe anymore. my pain is really getting to me, i can't keep up with my kids anymore. i use to be very active now i can't even go anywhere without hurting. he told me not to lift anything over 15 pounds but yet i can work. i can't even vacuum my floors. does anyone have any suggestions should i get a second opinion or just go on .

Thank You I have everything you have. the burning, memory loss, confussion, numbness, balance, extreme pain in my legs and sometime numbness in my face. It feels like spiders going down my neck all the way down my back. And I have a hump between my shoulders. Now I asked my doctor and he said it was fat and I needed to loss weight. I thought I was going crazy. Thank you. I mean I'm sorry. But now I know I'm not alone.
I also have tingling in my head. right side most of the time. It's like things crawling around in there. I tell my husband that my brain is working hard he says it's just trying to find my brain. lol.
Any way thanks.

I just wanted to say that I have been dealing with this for many years myself and all the drs could come up with fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed 20 years ago with lyme disease but who knows anymore. I have all the sympthoms that was explained on here burning, memory loss, confusion, numbness, balance, extreme pain, and numbness in the face. I can go on with a huge list but I'm not. I had about evey test done under the sun and I will not put my body under that testing anymore. I will now leave it in God's hands because I have been healed before and I will believe again for a complete healing. on that note,,, I will keep you all in my prayers now that I stumbled upon this forum.
takecare and God bless. If you need special prayers, don't hesitate because people get healed when I pray for them. I have a long list that can testify to that. keep your eyes on Jesus and he won't let you down. Love ya, bye

Yes, I know the burning liquid fire sensation that runs down the back of the neck down the upper back to mid back. I also have the blurry right eye vision that is worst when hot from heat, hot bath or over excertion. I also have lack of balance, numb and tingling in hands and feet. Drop foot in left foot. shaking vision sometimes like the world is dancing. Hugging squessing lower rib sensations. pins and needle pain. stiff fingers and lower legs. memory laps. forget the names of things but can describe like a pen or potholder. slurry voice like drunk sometimes but don't drink. Way of balance. Can not stand up stright without rocking forwards and back. right side of face goes numb. If I scratch the top of head face goes numb for a second. If I put my chin to chest my arms from elbow to fingers and legs from knees to toes go numb until I move my chin. The taste of food drasticly changed. Eyes not fully tracking togeather (I did not even know they were not until I went to eye dr) neasea, vomiting, fatique, weakness, diareaa, constipation. I get strange sensations like a wet spot on upper outer leg when it is not wet. I drop everything. I am tired all day from sun rise to sun set no mater how much sleep. Some of the syptoms are now perminite the others come and go for about 4-6 weeks every few months. Stess makes it worst. If any of this sounds familar to you tired of hurtin please go to a nurologist and ask for a MRI to rule out Multiple scrosis. I had symptoms for 14 years and now many of my syptoms will never go away. I am only 39 years old.
Hope this helps and I wish u luck
Many Blessings,
Sha'na

How long have you had the blurred vision, and have you been to a eye doctor about that? The reason I am asking is because I have a pituitary tumor that has caused cushings disease and those are some of my symptoms. Along with the fatigue, weight gain in the belly and back only, but I also have fibromyalgia that causes pain. I was told by my pain specialist though that cushings causes alot of widespread pain and fatigue. Perhaps you should google fibromyalgia, pituitary adenoma, and cushings. Good Luck, and Happy Holidays.

Always get a second opinion.  Not all Drs. are good or right.  Could you be having spasms in your upper back. Has anyone tried a muscle relaxant?  Your symptoms may or may not be connected.  Have you looked into the other medical web sites for your most prominate symptoms? Gain some evidence like that to bring to a Dr. sometimes they just need to see which direction to go.  If you have allot of sypmtoms pointing you towards say thyroid problems or female problems you find a Dr who specializes in that. Get your eyes checked to make sure there is nothing there causing blurred vision or are you taking medication that has a side effect of blurred vision.  Upper back & right leg pain usually are not connected.  Fatigue and all over pain could be Fibromyalgia or depression. You are not alone, we all at one time or another have had ailments that the DRS. don't seem to worry about.  Keep a pain diary to see if there is anything that you do or eat that aggravates your symptoms.  There is more than lifting that can cause pain. Good Luck and take it easy until you get answers, but keep mobile.  Happy Holidays to you & yours.
