can a neck injury cause nausea and headpain?

Was in an almost car crash two weeks ago, in the back seat. when the driver breaked i was jolted forward.
May be unrelated coincidence but the last week or so i have been having head and neck pain and terrible waves of nausea.

Going for blood test next thursday to find out about the nausea hopefully but never mentioned the car thing or headpains to the doctor. I am thinking now maybe i should have.

please advise.

Thanks

You might have a whiplash injury. Yes, problems in the neck can definitely cause nausea, very bad headaches and neck pain. You probably need an X-ray or possibly an MRI.
