can neck nerves make you dizzy?

Whenever I lie down since yesterday the room starts to whirl. I feel like my neck is very tight in the back. I worked alot at the computer and I have been diagnosed with loss of cervical curve 2 years ago. I dont feel much pain just wierd behind my head. When I lay down it is terrible, like awhirly bird. I can stand just fine and have no blood pressure problems.
Can my neck be the cause?

i think so.  i have a recent injury to my C2-C5...and the chiropractor i'm seeing said that an injury to the C1 and/or C2 can cause dizziness (which I've been having) as he said it pinches the nerve.
maybe take frequent breaks from your 'puter...or see your doc if it doesn't get better...take care!
