confused

i have anterior and posterior bulge of the c5-c6 intervertebral disc impining upon the thecal sac, what does that mean in lamest terms?

i have posterior bulge of the c6-c7 intervertebral disc impining upon the thecal sac as well as reversal of the cervical lordosis, what exactly is the doctor trying to tell me?

It means that your disc bulge at C5-6 is pushing against the thecal sac. The thecal sac encases the spinal cord and contains fluid to protect and feed the nerves. This in its self doesn't generally cause symptoms or problems unless its extreme and effects the canal.

Reversal of the cervical lordosis: Lordosis refers to the natural curve we have in our necks, some people begin to lose it as the age, it's thought that people who lose the curve are more susceptible to neck problems. My neck is straighter than most, and I do have a lot of neck problems, I don't know if there any correlation between those things or not.

When you post these items from your MRI it would really help if you could write about what type of pain and symptoms you're having, because these sentences from these reports don't mean anything without that.
