fractured coccyx

i recently took a bad fall at work,carrying a table backwards and slipped in a pool of water on floor. i have been diagnosed with neck and wrist sprain,multiple contusions,neck,wrist,and back,and probable clinical coccyx fracture. i have pain and sensation in back,legs,pelvic area,and tailbone. extreme pain in tailbone. why am i xrayed lying down not standing up like chiropracters do?why is pain increasing,i am doing all of docs orders except back exercises because it puts too much pressure on coccyx and pain increases. what other medical options do i have and can i get a second opinion with workers comp. i am on limited duty for work,depending on discomfort but anything i do cause pain?what advice can u give me?
